Delicious for breakfast, dessert (or any time of the day really!) A higher protein version of waffles, I like to eat mine with some greek yoghurt and fruit.
Serves 1
Ingredients
40 g oats
30g vanilla protein powder
1tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder (approx 2g)
1 medium egg
75g 0% fat greek yoghurt
20ml milk (I used semi skimmed)
To make:
* Blitz the oats, protein powder, cinnamon and baking powder together in a food processor (I use my Nutribullet for this as it is just the right size)
* Add the egg, yoghurt and milk to the dry ingredients and blitz again to combine
* Pour the mix into your pre-heated waffle iron (I use waffle plates on my Breville Toastie maker) and leave to cook for approx 3 mins. I get about 4-5 waffles out of this mix.
*Plate up and enjoy.
